A conversation I had over dinner today
Jane: Hey you know, sometimes you go to places like Body Shop and they put up a big sign that says "NO ANIMAL TESTING". If they don't test their products on animals then what do they test it on?
Me: Ermm.. maybe like.. lab rats?
Jane: But rats are animals too.
Me: Oh uhmm... then maybe the chemists tests it on themselves
Jane: I highly doubt there are enough chemists to test all the products they have out there.
Me: Well then maybe.. they just don't test it. If you have some kind of reaction to it, there's always a hotline number you could call and that's how they'll know...
Jane: Well I guess that's better than testing on animals......
*3 seconds later*
Jane: No wait...

I think they test it on paid human subject like you get paid $500 for this chemical to be apply on your body or something.
They test on human ones. Though they have to sign 1000000001 documents just in case they die of a rash? You know the States and the UK.
Omg... it took her that long to reliased...
genova: lol
david: what? does the amount paid go up by the risk involved? Say if I'm testing something that could potentially kill me... I should get paid a lot more right?
cheng: ahhh.. i can imagine those 10000000001 docs
donny: hehe
Hahaha...funny!
haih, why can't we test it on the animals? as long as we eat them too i think it's fine. :/
*LOL* at her response :D
KY : CNANOT!! YOU KNOW HOW CRUEL OR NOT!! YOU GO GOOGLE AND SEE!!! at least when u test it on people they actually volunteer for it and there are a bunch of documents to go through..
and in a lot of cases the thing has an adverse effect on animals but its perfectly fine on ppl..
